TJS Treks for Brain Cancer
May 26, 2016

The Mark Hughes Foundation (MHF) is a not for profit organisation formed in Newcastle by Mark and Kirralee Hughes following Marks diagnosis with Brain Cancer in 2013. Mark is a well known and highly respected former Newcastle Knights Rugby League player and also heads up the TJS Business in Newcastle.  The Mark Hughes Foundation has been formed to raise much needed funds to fund brain cancer research, heighten awareness and support brain cancer patients and their families within the community.

In order to raise funds for this important cause Mark and TJS founder, Todd Jaques are joining Paul “Chief” Harragon and a group of brave souls taking part in the 284km Kokoda Coast to Coast Challenge. This challenge includes a journey by bike and foot from Buna on PNG’S North Coast where the team will ride to the village of Kokoda. From the Kokoda village, they will walk the inspirational Kokoda track, a 96km journey along the legendary track to Owes Corner. The team will ride the final leg home by bike from the mountainous regions of Owes Corner to Port Moresby on the South coast.

The team has already raised an amazing $61,795 to date! If you can help out please visit this link:
